This newsletter edition reflects on the incredible work from the intensive care unit (ICU) where the realities of critical care can be confronting.

Former patient Gerry featured in our latest newsletter, was diagnosed with sepsis, followed by a lung infection which led to heart and kidney failure, Gerry spent several months in ICU and thanks to the incredible efforts of ICU staff and specialists at Sir Charles Gairdner and Osborne Park Hospitals, Gerry was home in time to celebrate his 70th birthday.
